About this service
Are you or someone you love or care for struggling with debilitating anxiety or feel held back from struggling to overcome past challenges or life events? Our Occupational Therapists, Louisa and Chris, are highly skilled in supporting those ready to raise their resilience, take control of their emotional and mental wellbeing and delve deeper into the root cause of their difficulties, to effectively manage and overcome them. They are also able to screen for conditions such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and provide a working diagnosis where helpful.
We truly appreciate the importance of trauma informed care and pride ourselves in providing a safe and healing sanctuary for you to explore your struggles within. Our ultimate aim is to allow you to step forward with an increased sense of self-belief, peace and positivity.
Investment: £85 per 60 minute session
Our approach
We take a holistic approach to treatment, integrating the latest evidence-based techniques with compassionate, clinical care to help you achieve optimum outcomes. This may include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help you identify and challenge negative thoughts, patterns and behaviors that are holding you back or contributing towards your symptoms.
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR): A Psychotherapy and treatment for trauma, that focuses on processing traumatic memories to reduce their emotional impact.
- Trauma-Informed Care: Our Therapists are trained in trauma-informed care and value establishing a sense of safety, trust, choice, collaboration and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.

What to expect
Within your first session we conduct a thorough assessment to better understand your unique challenges, priorities and goals. Through a process of Occupational Formulation and Case Conceptualisation we consider various facets contributing towards your current difficulties, including psychological, neurological, physiological and sensory domains.
We’ll then recommend an intervention plan, collaborating with you throughout to ensure this appropriately meets your needs before proceeding with therapy sessions.
Therapy sessions provide a non-judgement, confidential container for you to explore your thoughts and feelings within, clients often describing these as feeling like a “safe” and “healing sanctuary”. We believe that knowledge is power and strive to work with you to help you understand the science behind your triggers, reasons for these and ways you can work with your mind, body and spiritual self to achieve optimum wellbeing.
We’ll also support you to up-skill where helpful to increase your resilience and enable you to exit therapy feeling equipped with an increased sense of confidence, capability and self-belief. We are here to offer guidance, support and encouragement every step of the way during your recovery journey.
