Ellie Bennett
Specialising in person centred care and psychotherapy for adults and children over 10 years old, who are looking to navigate life with increased confidence.
About me
I’m a person-centred integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, based in Kendal, Cumbria. I see clients both in my counselling space, in Kendal, and online.
I love spending time in nature, and connecting with and helping others achieve their full potential.
Who I work with
I specialise in working with young adults, recognising the unique challenges this life stage can bring from navigating independence, school, study, career pressures and relationships, to exploring identity and purpose. My aim is to help individuals build resilience, self-awareness, and coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and an increased sense of ease.
I am well versed in supporting those enduring symptoms of anxiety and depression, or who may have relationship challenges, self-esteem issues or past trauma. From those facing a specific struggle or simply feeling stuck, I enjoy supporting others to journey towards greater self-understanding, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
As a person-centred counsellor, I create a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental space, where individuals are free to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Together, I work with others to help them uncover their strengths, build coping strategies, and empower them to make meaningful changes in their life.
As an accredited, registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I uphold the highest ethical standards to ensure client safety, confidentiality, and trust. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am committed to my continued professional development.
My goal is to walk alongside others in their healing journey, providing compassionate, client-centred care that honours their unique story.
